The CIEL Cartoons

The CIEL cartoons were created by award-winning cartoonist Barry Deutsch, who based his drawings and text on the CIEL graph and the basic ideas behind the CIEL model.

Barry writes, "There's no issue in the world today more crucial than climate change, and so I jumped at the opportunity to collaborate with CIEL. Raising consciousness about the consequences of climate change is essential."

Barry is the cartoonist behind the long-running alternative political comic strip Ampersand, which appears in each issue of Dollars and Sense magazine, and wrote and drew the graphic novel Hereville, published by Abrams. He is currently writing and drawing a sequel to Hereville.
